THE MEDSTAR NATIONAL REHABILITATION HOSPITAL (NRH) NORTH AMBULANCE PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ADDITIONAL AMBULANCE ENTRANCE ON THE NORTHERN SIDE OF THE NRH BUILDING. THE PROJECT WILL INCLUDE NEW PAVEMENT, CURBING, SIDEWALK, ENTRANCE CANOPY, DOORWAY, AND ASSOCIATED GRADING TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW AMBULANCE ACCESS. LIMITED SITE CLEARING WILL BE REQUIRED, INCLUDING THE REMOVAL OF TWO EXISTING TREES WITHIN THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT AREA. EXISTING UTILITIES WILL REMAIN IN PLACE AND BE PROTECTED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE LIMIT OF DISTURBANCE FOR THE WORK IS SHOWN WITHIN THE PLAN SET AND DOES NOT EXCEED 5,000 SF; THEREFORE, NO STORMWATER MANAGEMENT DESIGN HAS BEEN INCLUDED. EROSION AND SEDIMENT MEASURES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED FOR CONSTRUCTION. ALL WORK ON THIS PROJECT IS WITHIN THE EXISTING MEDSTAR CAMPUS, NO PROPOSED WORK IN PUBLIC SPACE. "NEW ENTRANCE CANOPY AND DOORWAY WILL BE INSTALLED AS PART OF AN ADJACENT BUILDING PERMIT ((B2603022).
