2017 DC Building Code - Section 903.3.1.2 NFPA 13R Sprinkler Systems - requires sprinkler systems in Use Group R Buildings four stories n height to be installed throughout in accordance with NFPA 13-R. It quires that when a fire pump is needed, that must be in accordance with NFPA 20.
